something that we did when i had the final fantasy website was have rank depending on how many posts you had. like army ranks. LT., Sgt., and so on. could make it 10 you rank up then 50 then maybe 100. any thoughts?

Wouldn't a ranking system for spam encourage spam? I have seen way too many forums become too jumbled and difficult to find information because of some of the nonsense people put in.
